Advertorial as featured in a business e-magazine, December 2008 Sector - Property and ConstructionCreativity and Customer Care In a Crisis! At the moment, when everyone who works in property, owns property or, indeed, just lives in a property (!) is exuding doom and gloom, it seems positively obscene to be upbeat about the property sector.
I was in a recent meeting with a mortgage advisor who actually lowered her voice to say that business was booming, as though embarrassed to go against the grain and admit such a controversial fact! If you dig a little deeper you’ll find that she’s not the only one bucking the trend. Pantheon Property Services, Downtown’s latest DT100 member, has actually undergone a recent expansion and the company is not afraid to shout about its secrets to success.
Pantheon has owned and managed a portfolio of properties in Liverpool for many years so when, in July, Pantheon began to let and manage properties on behalf of other people it was already a well established landlord. Danny McKeown, Lettings Manager said “Our level of service is what distinguishes us. We look after other people’s property in exactly the same way as we do our own. In that respect, we are the landlord’s landlord.”
Admittedly, people are finding it difficult to remortgage at the moment. When a tenant moves on, it can be difficult for landlords to find the funds to refurbish and fill the property again. Pantheon offer an alternative. With a maintenance staff and a fully let portfolio, Pantheon can assist landlords with refurbishment works and find quality tenants, using the resulting rental income to offset costs.
So all is not lost. Nobody can deny that the property market has altered dramatically in the past 12 months but the message should be that people are still doing business and the market is still there. Companies, like Pantheon Property Services and others, who are using a bit of creative flare to get through the crisis shouldn’t be afraid to say so.
